SimCity Beta rolls out January 25th with registration ending January 21st

PC fans may want to get themselves ready – the beta for SimCity will be live on January 25th to January 28th, and people who have already signed up for it are in consideration. Don’t worry though, there’s still a few days left if you’re dying to get into this. There are limited slots available and you’re encouraged to sign up at the www.simcity.com/beta before it’s too late. The application process ends at 2am, GMT, on January 21st.

Lucy Bradshaw, Senior Vice President and General Manager of EA’s Maxis label, said “This beta will help the team improve the live service aspects of SimCity to ensure a smooth and user-friendly experience at launch…. We are excited to share one of our most beloved franchises with our fans.”

The beta itself will run from 5pm GMT on January 25th until 8am GMT on January 28th, and will give you the chance to play one hour of the game, with your feedback helping to deliver the final product.

SimCity will be released for PC on March 8th and is available for preorder right now so make sure you grab your copy.
