Red vs Blue UK is a two and a half day event. In the City of Leicester, it features screenings of animations from all around the world, panels from various creative UK businesses and a series of gaming sessions, both casual and competitive.

Combining competition, education and entertainment the event blurs the line between creators and consumers.

Animations shown will include work from creators such as Rooster Teeth, Jonti Picking and Kooberz Studios as well as many more. There will also be an opportunity provided for community members to show some of there work.

There will also be panels from some of the contributors during the weekend event, creator Alex Kobbs of Kooberz Studios will be one of these contributors, receiving his own panel in the form of a recorded Q&A.

Finally for those who are more gaming inclined, console gaming tournaments will be held at various points through out the weekend featuring such competitive games like Super Smash Bros Brawl and Halo 4.

With so much animation and gaming fun it surely seems like a fun time. Red vs Blue UK will be held within Leicester from 2nd – 4th August 2013. For more information on schedules and venues head to the official event website.
