Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day is Coming to Europe

Namco Bandai Europe have announced that Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day, will be coming to Europe in Spring 2014. The 2D side-scroller will also be PS3 exclusive.

Short Peace is a series of four short films directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, who most notably directed cult classic Akira. Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day is intended as the fifth piece of the story, and boasts a unique artistic style and beautiful story as it remains true to the original short film series.

This latest entry to the Short Peace series focuses on Ranko Tsukigime, who by day is a high school girl and by night a deadly assassin. Developed by Goichi Suda, Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day features full anime segments, thrilling and fast-paced gameplay, as well as a dash of psychedelic visuals, to create an exciting and compelling experience. Players must put their reflexes to the test as they find themselves blazing through obstacle-ridden environments while on the run from a huge and ominous enemy.
