Following on from recent news that Index Corporation have declared bankruptcy, companies have been showing interest in their games development subsidiary Atlus. 

Twenty Companies have reportedly expressed an interest in buying the developer, one of the most notable being SEGA.

Known for developing titles such as the Demon’s Souls and Persona series, Atlus has a unique standing in the industry of being able to bring high quality Japan-developed games to western audiences, a feat rarely achieved by many eastern developers.
