The Need For Speed franchise isn’t known for having a dramatic, pulse-pounding story, but DreamWorks Pictures are damn well trying to squeeze one into it. After the first trailer for the project starring Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul, things seem to have toned down a little bit, probably for films the better.

Games don’t have the best track record when it comes to being turned into films, especially with the likes of Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within sinking an entire studio. No one hopes for a terrible movie though, at least we don’t, so we will have to wait until March 14, 2014 before we can see whether the project reaches the dramatic heights it appears to want to go.
