Independent studio Allgraf have announced yesterday that their sandbox, science-fiction, survival-action title, Darkout will be coming to PC through digital download on Steam, this December 4th. The game is set on a remote planet in which players move through randomly generated 2D levels as they research and defend themselves from the alien threat. The current price for Darkout is set at, $14 .99, £9.99, €11.99.

“Commencing with a stunning new intro, and offering a new cast of enemies with a deeper storyline, we are excited to announce the release of the first Darkout stage on Steam”, said Adrian Banninga, CEO of Allgraf, “We know players will savour this heart pounding survival experience and look forward to expanding the universe in future iterations.”

The title is hoping to draw on a survival horror element as players must gather their supplies carefully during twilight hours before the dark themed hordes attempt to end your life. Every decision holds consequence and will have a dramatic impact on your play-through of Darkout. Multiplayer is also in development which looks to expand both shared and competitive play.
