Ridge Race Driftopia is the newest addition to Namco Bandai’s Ridge Racer franchise and with a PS3 edition in sight a closed beta has become available to sign up for. It is unknown yet when the closed beta for Driftopia will commence, but applications for it are open until August 22nd and if you have a PSN account you can sign up on the PS3 website.

For those more interested in the PC version of the new free-to-play racer, there has been a beta in progress for over a week now and if you’d like to participate then head over to the Driftopia website to sign up.

Ridge Racer Driftopia was earlier this year and is expected for release later on in 2013.
