Resident Evil 6 to appear on PC in 2013

Capcom have confirmed that Resident Evil 6 will be making it’s way onto PC on March 22nd, 2013 in North America and Europe. Europe are lucky enough to not only get the digital download but also the retail disc version on the same date! All of the previous title updates will be available, including Ada Wong’s campaign and the No Hope difficulty mode! As well as this it will support all of Steam’s functionality, including Cloud saving, Steam Achievements, Friends Support and Leader Boards!

The specs have also been released, so here’s the kind of specs you’ll need to run the game:

· OS: Windows Vista®/XP, Windows 7, Windows 8
· Processor: Intel® CoreTM2 Duo 2.4 Ghz or better, AMD AthlonTM X2 2.8 Ghz or better

Capcom has recommended PC’s equipped with NVIDIA GeForce graphics processors to gie you the best experience while playing.

The game will also have a second title update available on January 22 2013 for free, and will give you the following enhancements:

Agent Hunt Mode

– Available without having to complete the campaign, and has selectable criteria for joining a session (stage selection, region selection, join game based on player settings such as infinite ammo or friendly fire)

Stage Selection

– Individual stages within chapters can be accessed at any time once completed

General

– QTE Assist: Currently part of the Amateur difficulty level, and automatically completes Quick Time Events for players. This update means this can be activated on any difficulty level.

– Difficulty Adjustments: Some sections of the game have had the difficulty adjusted for an improved experience
