Fear not PC gamers, Ubisoft hast not forsaken thou as they have announced that upcoming title Rayman Legends is coming to the PC. Rayman Legends PC version is being developed by Ubisoft Chengdu in collaboration with main developers Ubisoft Montpellier. Ubisoft had already announced Rayman Legends for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U and the PlayStation Vita. The PC version will launch with it’s console counterparts on August 30th 2013.
Rayman legends looks truly beautiful, with psychedelic visuals and top quality platforming gameplay, so we can’t wait to get our hands on it, regardless of platform. Rayman Legends picks up from where Rayman Origins left off on a gameplay front, taking the highly successful formula and adding new game modes, characters, environments and a new soundtrack (including that really sweet mariachi cover of Eye of the Tiger we heard in this trailer).
Developed by the same award-winning team of artists, designers and composers as Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends comes with a new advanced UbiArt engine whose features include “multi-dimension gameplay elements, an improved lighting system and updated game rendering that elevate Rayman’s previous graphics to the next level.”
All this talk of Rayman Origins, but what if you didn’t play it I hear you scream? Well don’t worry, if you pre-order Rayman legends for PC at Ubisoft’s Online Store you receive Rayman Origins for free. Bargain.
