Prime World Now On Steam

Developer Nival has announced that its MMO which combines elements from the MOBA genre is now available as a free download on Steam. The game’s hook is that not only does it feature competitive MOBA-style gameplay, but it couples this with an over-arching character progression you would find in an MMO.

Prime World has several different modes for you to play, from the traditional lane-phase style of the MOBA genre, to the more PvE-oriented Dragonwald mode.

Prodcuer of Prime World, Marc Singer, was pleased with the new platform:

“We are really excited to have Prime World on Steam. Steam is home to many great games that are competitive by nature, but has lacked ones that allow players to develop their skills outside of the battlefield. Prime World brings to the table a whole new outlook on team based combat that puts the power into the player’s hands.”

Prime World has seen a decent following in Russia, where the game was developed. Now it heads across the world , and the Steam store will allow its expansion.

What do you think? Will you give the game a try? Does the MMO-character progression interest you?
