PQube Announces That MotoGP13 Features Commentary by Gavin Emmett

Publisher PQube, along with Milestone, one of the most successful racing videogame developers for consoles and PC, announces the inclusion of one of MotoGPTM’s most recognised voices as the in-game commentator for MotoGP 13, the official game of the MotoGP World Championship 2013, due for release in June 2013.

Gavin Emmett has long been associated with MotoGPTM, well known for being both a journalist and a commentator, most notably for the official MotoGP website, the sport’s international English broadcast and the BBC’s Red Button service. He was in a London recording studio just a few weeks ago recording commentary and voice overs to be used in the upcoming MotoGP 13 video game. His voice is now currently being implemented into the game that will be released in June this year during the 2013 MotoGP season which runs from 7th April up until 10th November.

MotoGP 13 is a new start for the MotoGP video game franchise, with Milestone regaining the official license once again, based on fans over riding consensus that the ‘08 version of the game, also developed by Milestone, is the best MotoGP video game ever! Milestone have taken on the challenge to out-do their previous iteration of the franchise by developing a brand new game engine especially for MotoGP 13, giving the game realism, depth, playability and excitement.

“Using Gavin for the commentary is just another detail which adds to the unrivalled realism of the game and is a nice connection to what’s going on in the real life world of MotoGP. It gives the game an added sense of authenticity, with Gavin’s professionalism and in-depth knowledge providing a natural and exciting feel to the in-game audio, drawing you into the action even more.” commented Martine Saunders, PQube’s Senior Product Manager.

Developed by Milestone studio, MotoGP 13is currently available to Pre-Order and is scheduled for release in June 2013 for the Xbox 360, PS3, Windows PC and PSVita.
