The Pokemon Rumble series has seen three entries on the Wii, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS since it’s launch in 2009. Combining the characters from the critter collection franchise with melee combat, it offers a very different approach to the mainstream RPG adventures from which they originated. In order to keep interest flowing, Nintendo have released the fourth title in the series, named Pokemon Rumble World.

Exclusively available on the Nintendo 3DS, this game is available to download for free. This time around, 719 Pokemon are included, and Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion also play a major role. In a similar approach taken by social media games such as Candy Crush Saga and Bejeweled Blitz, you can play through the game without spending any money at all. But if you want to progress through the adventure at a slightly quicker pace, you can use real money to provide faster access to the later levels.
