PixelJunk Shooter Heading To PC

Double Eleven has partnered with the Kyoto-based Q-Games to bring PixelJunk Shooter to PC, Max and Linux, with a launch date of November 11th.

The indie game is one of the PixelJunk series of quirky retro-style games that have garnered some critical praise, the last of which was PixelJunk Monsters for PS Vita, PC, Mac and Linux.  PixelJunk Shooter was released as a PS3 title in late 2009, but now PC players can enjoy its offbeat action and soundtrack.

PixelJunkShooter pits players against environmental puzzles, elemental weaponry and a host of enemies. The story involves the player trying to rescue scientists that have become trapped underground by venturing through cavernous locations.

PixelJunk Shooter will be available via Steam on the 11th of November, and will be sold at a price of $8.99/£5.99/€6.99.
