For those who aren’t happy with the lack of lasting power in the battery for the Wii U’s Gamepad, you might just be in luck. Nintendo is to be making a new large capacity battery for the Gamepad that is said to last between 5 – 8 hours.

In japan it will cost 3000 yen, and will be released on July 25th. Unfortunately, there has been no word yet if the battery will be released in other regions, but one would think that something will be made available, at least in the long run.
