Nintendo Reveals DLC Plans For Hyrule Warriors

Even though it has only been two days since the launch of Hyrule Warriors, KOEI and Nintendo have revealed their strategy to add more content to the game. In addition to new content via a day one patch, and a free DLC pack which unlocks the villains of the game to be playable, four content packs will be available over the next few months. If you want to buy them altogether for a reduced price, they have also implemented a Season Pass. This method isn’t a new approach, but Nintendo have rarely utilised it until very recently.

Three of the four packs are given names that represent some of the most prominent games in the history of the Zelda series. They are named Master Quest Pack, Twlight Princess Pack and Majora’s Mask Pack. Except for Master Quest, none of the packs include additional campaigns for the scenario modes, but they do include an assortment of weapons, playable characters, locations and costumes. The final piece of content is named the Boss Pack, and will include two brand new game modes, which will be revealed at a later date.

If you buy the season pass, which will cost around fifteen pounds, you will be able to download an exclusive costume named Dark Link at no additional cost. Are you excited for more content to arrive on your battlefield? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
