Nintendo DS Games Coming To Wii U

In a press briefing held earlier today, Nintendo have revealed that new titles will be coming to Wii U Virtual Console. To the surprise of many, the console that the games will be taken from this time is the Nintendo DS.

Nintendo showed a version of their Brain Training series, known as Brain Age in some regions, being played using a Wii U Gamepad. Both screens were visible on the Gamepad, laid out with a vertical line in between them instead of the horizontal gap on the console itself.

No games have been confirmed to be available on the service, neither has a price point been established for their newest legacy software. For more information on this development, you can read the full briefing on Nintendo’s official website. The official information is not currently available in English, so you will need to use a translator to read it in full.
