Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge Coming to PS3 and Xbox 360, Date Set

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, the previously WiiU exclusive title, is coming to both PS3 and Xbox 360.

The titles intent is to fix the issues that many players and critics had with the original game released last year. It was the first Ninja Gaiden game developed without it’s creator Tomonobu Itagaki who left the studio in 2008 sueing Temco and it’s president. The game suffered from a lack of depth and the charm the series garnered through it’s challenge and style. The WiiU release has already reviewed more pleasurably and hopefully is closer to what the designers felt was their original vision.

TEMCO KOEI Europe had this to say in their press release:

“NINJA GAIDEN 3: RAZOR’S EDGE features additional playable characters, a new gameplay mode, a redesigned battle system with enhanced enemy AI, a robust Ninja Skills upgrade system, expanded online features including bonus content, and a host of other features. The game is scheduled to launch both at retail and via digital download on the 5th of April 2013.”

Hopefully the updates that the WiiU version brought will please hardcore fans of the series who were disapointed by the original release.
