War Z is having more problems - this time it's Hackers

After everything that's happened so far, War Z really didn't need any more issues. But their misfortune sadly continues with their servers being subjected to a variety of attacks.

Kewk, the Community Manager for Hammerpoint, posted on their forums: "Over the last few days we have been under attack by various forms of malicious attempts to shut down our servers. First we were hit with an attack that would rest our DNS IP so that you could not connect. This was solved a couple days ago early in the morning but took time to actually resolve world wide once the fix went in."

"This morning we were hit, again, with a DDOS attack on our login server. We are implementing additional DDoS protection and hope to have this resolved asap. Unfortunately with these types of attacks it is very difficult to give a good time frame of when it will be resolved."

There have been many attempts to fix the issues, but Steam users are still experiencing problems. Hammerpoint are currently seeking help from Steam but this is going to take some time. It makes you wonder why they would keep attacking a game that already hasn't had the best of times recently...

I've played games for pretty much as long as I can remember, hoping to one day turn my love into a career. I'm in my final Masters year of University while writing for VGU, I love the design and production management type stuff and I will happily try any game at least once!
