The VGU staff have been hard at work in in their respective teams making some seriously crazy games and now, we can show them to you!

Sarah and Trish are working on "That Son-of-a-X!". The game takes on the themes of the heart, love, heartbreak and ultimately revenge. You play as a character who has had their heart torn apart by a cheating lover, leaving you now single and alone. To move on you must traverse the Wild West themed world and collect the four fragments of your heart, battling the physical manifestations of your ex's personality along the way. Cheating becomes a dual-magnum wielding Cowboy, his Alcoholic trait becomes a bottle that spits bubbles capable of temporarily intoxicating you and causing confusion, and the cheating skank who stole your ex becomes a melded monster, intent on leaving you devastated.
Why Wild West? Unfortunately you caught your lover cheating with another slutty woman at a fancy dress party! Get ready to teach that cheating ex and his skank a lesson they won't forget!

Ian is working on "Hearts Vs Minds". The game is a 2D isommetric battle game, pitting two teams of robots against each other. One team contains Hearts, the other contains Brains, and they both hate each other, each team have to spawn at their spawner, beat the hell out of each other, then try to take out their opponent's base spawner to end the game.
The game features a full isommetric camera, using 2D animated sprite assets rendered from 3D art, we're also trying to see if we can implement modular character accessories so players can customise their characters!

The game that Bradley is working on is called Sucky Surgeon, you play a surgeon who uses an arcade crane claw to remove select organs from their patients who are being quickly operated on via a conveyer belt. The game is very tongue in cheek and is made in a cartoon style in order to reduce the graphic nature of the game and make it more accessible for a wide audience.
You control the crane via moving your phone (or analogue stick) to manoeuvre your crane so it is above the organ or object you wish to remove and then tapping the screen to lower the claw so it can pick up the targeted organ. If you pull out the wrong organ or interrupt other surgeons trying to operate the patient will lose health (represented with a heart), if the patient loses all their health they die!
All these games are shaping up to be pretty cool and looking to be finished after the full 48 hours! Links will be put up at that time so you can play these games for yourself!
