Just Cause 3 and Mad Max Game Coming to Next-Gen Consoles

The LinkedIn page for Avalanche head Christofer Sundburg has been busy recently, as sluethed out by Kotaku's Superannuation.

The page describes a "Unnanounced Sandbox Action Game" published by Square Enix set for completion in 2015. Given how popular Just Cause 2 became for wonderful sandbox antics, it wouldn't be suprising if a sequel was announced. Square Enix's involvement is also another indicater, with the company Publishing the previous Just Cause game. So it is entirely possible that Rico may be making another exotic trip. The date for completion however supports a next-gen release being two years into the future. Christofer has also previously tweeted Avalanches journey into the next-gen of consoles.

Another project mentioned is an "Unnanounced Open-World Action Game". The description reads:

"Avalanche Studios first licensed game, developed based on a well-known movie license. The game however, stands on its own and is scheduled for release in April 2014. The game is developed for current and next-generation console platforms and PC."

Seems Avalanche plans on being very busy. This fits with a rumoured Mad Max title for the movie "Mad Max: Fury Road", but then again it could fit with many other licenses. It must also be noted that it's another next-gen title. Seems they will have their work cut-out for them.
