The highly anticipated horror adventure game Asylum has finally joined the ranks of Kickstarter projects with a campaign as wacky as it is creepy.
Four years in production and the Senscape team is on the final stretch now. The Kickstarter campaign will be used to aid the final stages of development, featuring some of the most unusual Kickstarter rewards yet, ranging from backers becoming permanent denizens of the Hanwell Mental Institute (the asylum where the game takes place) by either being an inmate or being a dead body in the morgue. Charming!
Agustin Cordes, project lead and designer, said "The number one request from fans has been that they want to become part of this engrossing setting we have created. And we have listened." So if you ever wanted to be a dead body in a game, this is the perfect chance!
Asylum was inspired by the writings of H.P Lovecraft and builds upon the success of cult hit Scratches and has already had a successful Steam Greenlight campaign, making it the first game from Argentina to be Greenlit by Valve.
