Zen Studios and Marvel have today announced that a new piece of content in the form of a Doctor Strange table is coming to Marvel Pinball.

Doctor Strange, The Sorcerer Supreme, regularly contends with his arch-nemesis Dormammu in the Marvel universe, but for this they’ll put their dimension-altering powers aside and brutally engage in amusement-arcade action. Fans of the character will be pleased to see the new content, which will be chock-full of references and characters from Doctor Strange’s 50-year history. This includes Baron Mordo, the Fear Lord Nightmare, and the Lord of Chaos Shuma-Gorath.

Zen Studios also released a video that shows off some of the gameplay of the new board, which features the ability to cast spells with well-placed shots. Strange himself will appear on the table and do battle with his foes as you aim for the highest score that you can achieve.

The Doctor Strange themed pinball table will be released in December 2013 for Marvel Pinball, which is currently available on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Steam, iOS and Android. What do you think? Will you be giving this a try? Let us know in the comments below.
