The mammoth gameplay video, narrated by Game Director Ashraf Ismail, goes over the moment-to-moment gameplay to be found in the open-world of the Caribbean in 1717.  The video briefly shows off Edward’s ability to manually aim his firearm as well as the game’s much touted naval combat system. Players can choose what to do with enemy ships as well, be it destroying them in battle, or boarding them and plundering them for all their worth.

Ubisoft is keen on demonstrating the seamless, open world nature of the game by allowing players to hop on and off Edward’s ship, the Jackdaw, and explore the seas at will. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be released on PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on November 1st. Join in the discussion in the comments below!
