Forza Motorsport 5 have in their latest title, implemented microtransactions for players to use if they so wish. This Token system will allow gamers to acquire cars in the game in order to advance their career more rapidly or to get additional XP boosts per race. For 2,334 Tokens you can pick up the McLaren P1 or Ferrari Enzo. To put that into perspective you could purchase either car with a Token pack of around £15.99. The exact microtransaction purchases available can be seen below.

- 575 Tokens – £3.99
- 1,250 Tokens – £7.99
- 2,700 Tokens – £15.99
- 8,000 Tokens – £39.99
- 20,000 Tokens – £64.99
The systems works in that the more Tokens you buy, the cheaper the cars become. For example if you bought the 20,000 pack the McLaren would come up to £7.58, a Veyron Super Sport will cost £13.00 and the Lotus E21 will still be a stunning £32.50. If you wish to go the microtransaction route be sure to not simply buy 100 of the 100 Token packs as this will lead to the Lotus E21 costing £79.
