Microsoft Reportedly Developing Cloud Streaming Service for Windows Devices

Reports from the Verge state that Microsoft have been internally developing its own cloud streaming service similar to Sony’s GaiKai service. Internally demonstrated using Halo 4, the new service allowed the Xbox 360 FPS to be played on a PC and Windows Phone with low latency using a Xbox 360 controller. A low end Windows Phone, in this example a Nokia Lumia 520, reportedly had as low a latency as 45ms according to sources. With the potential to allow players to stream their consoles content around the house, a service such as this could prove valuable to Microsoft.
