Microsoft Raises Some Prices On Digital Downloads

Microsoft has raised the prices of 3 of its major exclusives on the Xbox One’s digital store, according to reports from QualityEduInfo and NowGamer.

Forza Motorsoprt 5, Ryse: Son of Rome and Dead Rising 3 are all going up from £44.99 to £49.99. This calls into question the reason behind such high prices on the digital store, as prices are often lower when downloaded from places such as Steam.

Gamers have been worried about digital download pricing ever since Sony had to clarify their own prices prior to the launch of the PS4. Microsoft’s reasons are obviously their own, but it still will baffle many gamers.

What do you think? Are these price hikes un-called-for? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
