Microsoft Conducting Cheaper Digital Prices Experiment

Microsoft has announced they are exploring cheaper Xbox One digital game prices, starting off with Ryse: Son of Rome.

The movement comes in response to user requests for less expensive digital titles with Ryse being reduced between February 18 and 24, and an additional sale of the game’s DLC starting on February 25, Xbox studio manager Mike Ybarra told over Twitter.

Ybarra added “That’s far better than the used price at GameStop and others! Go digital.”

Microsoft spokesperson Major Nelson said last month that competitive pricing for Xbox One digital games were on the company’s agenda.
