Killzone Shadow Fall Season Pass Detailed + Trailer

Guerilla Games has announced that the upcoming entry in the Killzone series, Killzone Shadow Fall, will see a season pass for its DLC. The developer also released a new trailer (below) showcasing the game’s multiplayer, and also reiterated on the official Playsation EU Blog that competitive VS mode maps will be free to download.

However, there will still be paid DLC for the game. Paying an up-front fee of £15.99/€19.99 will net players access to packs of DLC as they become available. These include new co-op DLC, in the form of what appears to be a horde-mode style gametype, and three further map packs for this mode, containing 2 new maps each.

Your season pass would also cover the mysterious two pieces of DLC that Guerilla Games has yet to announce, but has promised that more information will be released as Killzone Shadow Fall’s release date draws ever closer. Buying the season pass on day 1 will also get you an exclusive skin and a unique Multiplayer Spotlight move.

The season pass costs £15.99/€19.99, and promises to deliver around €45 worth of content (about £37).

Here’s the new multiplayer trailer:

Killzone Shadow Fall will be released as a PS4 launch title here in Europe on November 29th, 2013.
