Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition Coming To PS4 & PSVita

Injustice: Gods Among Us is receiving a special edition of sorts. The DC fighting game was released earlier this year, but the new version – entitled Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition – is coming on November 29th. The platforms that have been announced are PC, PS3, PS4, PSVita and Xbox 360. The game features all the DLC from the original release – including the extra characters Bat Girl, General Zod and even Scorpion from Mortal Kombat. Extra skins, and extra S.T.A.R labs missions will be included too.

Interestingly, Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition doesn’t appear to be releasing on Microsoft’s Xbox One. The game isn’t launching on Wii U either. These are two strange cases seeing as the original game launched on both the Xbox 360 and Wii U anyway.

Also announced is a PS Vita version, which also contains all the DLC and characters. It boasts ad-hoc multiplayer as well as wi-fi matches, and will use the Vita’s touchscreen and touchpad during the S.T.A.R labs minigames.

The PS4 version will also use the touchpad on the DualShock 4, although exactly how it will do so has yet to be announced. Of course, players will also be able to use the PS4’s share button to broadcast to Twitch.tv as is standard for the console.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition is released on PC, PS3, PS4, PS Vita,  and Xbox 360 on November 29th, 2013. What do you think? Is the lack of a Wii U or Xbox One version a great injustice? Let us know in the comments below.
