Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core – “Plus R” Update Now On Xbox 360

Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core is finally receiving its latest update on the Xbox 360 version of the game. Developed by Arc System works, the game is the last entry in the ultra-hardcore Guilty Gear fighting franchise. That is, until the also ridiculously-titled Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- arrives in 2014.

Bringing the full title of the game to the lengthy Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core Plus R, the update will require users to download a title update from Xbox Live, then head over to the store and find the new update as free DLC. This update brings Western players up to date with the current character balancing in Japanese arcades. PS3 owners of the game saw this update come to their console way back in August, but now Xbox 360 players are able to experience the latest tweaks to the game.

Fighting game-community website Shoryuken.com compiled an exhaustive list of translated changes brought by the patch, and that can be viewed here.

What do you think? Are you a GGXXAC+R player (sorry, I couldn’t help but see what the abbreviation would look like)? Have you been waiting for update to come to Xbox 360? Let us know in the comments below.
