NCSOFT and AreaNet developers of the acclaimed Guild Wars franchise have announced Tower of Nightmares, a new content update for Guild Wars 2. Tower of Nightmares will see the players having to against a menace with dark ties to previous storylines. The sinister reptilian krait has forged the Tower of Nightmares will looks to destroy all forces within Tyria. 

The update also introduces new awards, a universal healing skill for players to cleanse themslelves of poison afftects and various artifacts which may be used in a players home instance.
