Even though Atari announced back in May of 2012 that Eden games was being closed, the company maintained they had not closed (yet), more that the studio was being prepared for a potential divestment. This still didn’t stop most of the staff being fired in 2011 which caused a strike to ground which made the the studio grind to a halt and it has been downhill ever since. Some good news out of this is that some of the developers have created a new studio and are still making games even now which is great!

It is a shame to see more and more studios being closed recently, it makes you wonder who or what will be going next….
