Like a B-movie franchise, Earth Defense Force 2025 is going the usual series route of so bad, it’s great. Deploying February 18 in NA, and 21 in the EU, the EDF wants to make sure you know who to call in the event of alien invasion.

While it may have come out last July in Japan, there is still enough camp charm to go around on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Dealing with robots as well as the usual giant insects this time around, the cult series doesn’t seem to care as it shows a more casual sense of self-awareness.

Here’s hoping they go strong into the next generation. Earth Defense Force 2025 should be a great way to see the franchise off until then.
