It is possible that Electronic Arts are working on a new open-world Star Wars game, after Kotaku noted job postings at EA Canada.

It seems there is an animator position posted from last month that notes a Star Wars team that are developing “a major new next gen open world action game.”

Rumours have then been made stronger after a Tweet in September from the companies’ then recruiter was discovered, putting a job description up as “Lead Combat Designer for Star Wars.”

EA recently signed a ten year Star Wars deal and has named studios including DICE, BioWare and Visceral Games as working on a new IP.
