In a puzzling announcement, Square Enix have announced a chibified entry in the Final Fantasy series, titled World of Final Fantasy. Similar to Dissidia and the much maligned All the Bravest, World of Final Fantasy will have players changing between chibi and normal forms and summoning fan favourite characters like Cloud and The Warriors of Light to fight for them.

While you may have familiar characters fighting with you, the world of Grimoire is a brand new location, unique to the World of Final Fantasy, where the two siblings you control go on an adventure unlike anything FF fans have seen before.

This interesting entry in the Final Fantasy series will be released for PS4 and PS Vita in early 2016.
