Ducktales Remastered Now Available On PC,PS3, Wii U

Originally released on the NES in 1989, Ducktales (woo-hoo!) became one of the most beloved games of the generation, permanently ingraining itself into the hearts of gamers. Famous for Scrooge McDuck’s pogo-cane jumping and a stellar soundtrack, the game has now been re-made by WayForward technologies.

Ducktales (woo-hoo!) Remastered features 2D hand-drawn animated recreations of the original sprites , which move over backgrounds built from all-new 3D models. The game also features voice acting from original cast members including Alan Young as Scrooge McDuck.

The game also features a new tutorial level not seen in the original, as well as a new Money Bin stage where you can recreate Ducktales’ (woo – OK, I’ll stop this now) original cartoon intro as Scrooge swims around in his gold coins.

Ducktales: Remastered is available now on Steam, PSN, and Wii U eShop across North America, while in Europe the game is available on Steam now, PSN on August 14th, and Wii U eShop on August 15th.

The Xbox 360 version of the game will be released in both territories on September 11th, 2013. Join in the discussion and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments below.
