Check out this new gameplay preview video of Distant Worlds Shadows, the upcoming expansion to Matrix Games’ space 4X game Distant Worlds. It shows off the games’ new modes of play which allow you to play as either a pirate faction or a pre-warp empire.

Distant Worlds Shadows has no confirmed release date as of yet, though Matrix Games have said it will be within the next couple of weeks.
