Chivalry: Medieval Warfare Gets Console Release

Activision and Torn Banner Studios’ have announced the release of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare for the Xbox 360. With over 2 million units sold on Steam, the melee online multiplayer game is now available on console for the first time as of today.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare will pit up to 12 players together in online conflict across a range of solo and squad based game modes. The game will offer gametypes found in the PC version, such as Team Deathmatch, Free-for-All, Capture the Flag and Team Objective.

The game will allow players to bid combat as one of four unique classes: Knight, Vanguard, Man-at-Arms and Archer. Across these classes there are over 60 weapons authentic to the period, ranging from longswords to crossbows as well as customizable armour choices.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is available now on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox 360. More information will be available soon regarding a Playstation 3 version.
