CD Projekt Opening New Studio To Focus On “Smaller” Length Titles

CD Projekt, the Warsaw based company which develops The Witcher series, is expanding their horizons. After posting new job openings it was revealed they are opening a second office in Kraków. For those who don’t know their European geography that is also in Poland.

Opening in July Managing director Adam Badowski confirmed this news stating that they will be focusing on two smaller titles, smaller meaning “approximately 20h of gameplay”.

This shouldn’t be much of a surprise to anyone who follows the studio as they take extreme pride in the quality of their products. With both Witcher games being lengthy games, 20 hours is a drop in the bucket to the company.

With the core team in Warsaw cracking away at both The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt are stepping up the rate their content hits the market.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to these two titles? Do you think all their games should be as dark and gritty as The Witcher series? Let us know in the comments.
