After THQ’s bankruptcy earlier this year and their IP’s being bought up by numerous studios, a few of their games properties were left unwanted. These properties have been on the block to be auctioned off and bidding has recently closed. Bidding began April 1st and ended April 15th.
According to Polygon documents filed earlier this week state that the sales will hopefully be fine by the end of May. We should hear who now owns what shortly after.
The documents didn’t state which of the 17 bids were for what or how much, but it is expected these bids will bring in $6-7 Million.

Earlier this week we reported that TeamPixel were outbid for the rights to the Homeworld series. Hopefully the rights to these games will go to studios that will bring series like Destroy All Humans or perhaps even Summoner back.
