On the official PlayStation US Blog, it was announced that the upcoming PS3 exclusive Beyond: Two Souls  is getting a special edition. Developed by Quantic Dream, the game is a 3rd person interactive mystery featuring Ellen Page as Jodie, a woman who finds herself intrinsically bound to the mysterious spiritual entity known as Aiden, granting her strange abilities.

A preorder-exclusive from GameStop, the special edition contains a steelbook case, soundtrack, a PS3 dynamic theme, and avatars.

The special edition also includes an additional playable scene, known as “advanced experiments” , which Sony is claming to be 30 minutes in length. This scene is based around using main character Jodie’s otherworldly companion Aiden to solve what look to be Portal-esque puzzles and brainteasers.

The special edition of Beyond: Two Souls will also include four exclusive Making Of videos, featuring Quantic Dream’s writer/director David Cage, and the game’s two leads, Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe.
