We’ve had to wait that little bit longer but Fire Emblem Fates is finally coming to Europe on May 20th. Along with the standard versions of Conquest and Birthright, Fire Emblem Fates will have a special edition in Europe which comes with a steelbook, poster and artbook of the game which includes both Conquest, Birthright and the third Revelations campaign on a single game cart. There will also be a special edition New 3DS XL with Fire Emblem Fates styling.

If you want all three games at once, you will need to buy the special edition but Revelations will be released separately on June 9th if you don’t have the money to buy all three versions of Fates on May 20th. It will be interesting to see how the European localisation holds up in comparison to the American one, which has many scenes from the Japanese versions missing as well as some questionable translations which seem to cut out many support conversations which are present in the original.

I’m just glad that Fates is making its way to European shores, as the news of its European localisation seemed quite scant. Keep a look out for our coverage of Fire Emblem Fates when all three versions of the SRPG launch in May.
