Overcooked Coming To PC and Consoles This Year

If you are ready and armed with your recipe for success, Overcooked by Ghost Town Studios may just be the perfect ingredient for your co-operative gaming events. It has been announced for a early 2016 release date, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Unlike many co-operative games that rely on you competing against specific opponents, every member of your team will be needed to work together in the weird and wonderful kitchens of the Onion Kingdom. Traditional multi-player modes are included for those who like to compete, but the main bread and butter of Overcooked comes from communicating with your team to serve the best possible meals.

If you want to see how you will be catering your virtual customers needs, be sure to check out the trailer below, visit the Ghost Town Studios official Facebook page, and look at their Steam Greenlight page to offer your support.

A really interesting feature for Overcooked is that the developers have included a Party Play mode where 2 controllers can be used to allow 4 players to play at the same time. This multi-player system was offered in titles such as Micro Machines V3 back on the original PlayStation, and is certainly beneficial to gamers who are on a budget. As if this weren’t exciting enough, fellow indie developers Tim Schafer and Double Fine have tried the game out for themselves, and allowed their experience to be filmed for Ghost Town Studios official YouTube Channel.
