Nintendo Direct Coming on November 12th

It’s finally back. After there being much speculation about the future of the Nintendo Direct streams after the unfortunate passing of Satoru Iwata earlier this year, Nintendo has decided to keep the program alive, with the first presentation under new president Tatsumi Kimishima happening this Thursday.

This Direct will focus on upcoming Wii U and 3DS games so we’ll no doubt be getting news on Fire Emblem Fates, Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam, Star Fox Zero among other things. We may get a glimpse of Pikmin 4 which is apparently close to being complete and possibly some surprise announcements as Nintendo did say recently that they still have one big thing left to announce for the holiday period. Let’s hope it’s something to fill the hole which the Star Fox Zero delay left in the Winter release window.

It’s safe to bet that we will probably get some further details on future Smash DLC, with a recent 4chan leak which prophecised the 12th November date, stating that we will find out the 3 of the fighters at this Direct, with the other 3 being revealed at a later date in the new year. As with any leak from 4chan, take with a massive grain of salt but seeing as the ballot has been finished for a whole month, it’s a safe bet to assume we’ll hear something.

What do you think will be announced at the Nintendo Direct? It’s going live at 10pm GMT on Thursday so have your Direct bingo cards ready for then.
