ATLUS Offers Cash Prize For Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Tournament

The idea of competitive video game championships have become a global phenomenon in the past few years, aided by the invention of live streaming and high speed internet access to allow people to watch from their own homes. In order to convince the world’s best fighting game players to show off their skills, ATLUS have revealed that they have funded a pool of $10,000 as prizes for the competitors that reach the final stages of the Persona 4 Arena Ultimax tournament to be held at EVO 2015.

As well as the extra incentives for the fighting competition, ATLUS have announced that they will be setting up practice booths for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, as well as competitive sessions using the multiplayer mode of Catherine and playable demos of their latest games including Persona 4 Dancing All Night.
