The Cage family is here to kick some ass and punch you in the nuts as Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage return in Mortal Kombat X. They had aged a fair bit since their last bout, with MKX taking place 25 years after Mortal Kombat 9 but they can still keep up with the new crop of fighters which have made their debut already. They seem to have had a marriage and a messy divorce in between games but they seem to be reunited, to defeat whatever nasties are coming for Earthrealm.

With Johnny and Sonya confirmed, it seems like Jax will not be far behind, with a Jax render being leaked a week back, as well as sightings of the metal armed fighter as one of the challengers in the Daily Towers mode seen in the Next trailer. No doubt we may see the golden oldies fighting it out in the next Kombat Kast, as well as another character announcement.
