Telltale’s Game of Thrones Six-Part Saga Begins with ‘Iron From Ice’

Over the past few weeks, Telltale have been slowly revealing precious details of their upcoming Game of Thrones inspired series. However, today they made one of their biggest reveals so far, as the title of the first episode was confirmed.

Iron From Ice will be the first of six chapters in the Game of Thrones saga, separating it from Telltale’s previous series’, The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among us, which settled for five. While there have been hints and theories over what this new series will feature, all we really know for sure is that players will have control over five different protagonists from the same family, as Steve Allison revealed in a recent interview with International Business Times.

Some hints, such as the image below posted to Telltale’s twitter last month, have pointed towards House Forrester being at the centre of this tale, who have been yet to feature in the Game of Thrones TV series. Meanwhile, Telltale’s Job Stauffer tweeted yesterday that he was playing two games, with one of which looked like a ‘living oil painting.’ This may mean that we will be seeing a departure from Telltale’s usual cell-shaded style into a more realistic direction, to something closer to the Iron Throne design in the latest teaser image.
