Announced at Gamescom 2014, during the Microsoft conference, Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced to be exclusive to Xbox One.

What?

I mean why? It’s a franchise steeped in Sony history. I guess it works as Microsoft’s counter to Uncharted but other than fat stacks of cash, I can’t see what Square Enix are getting out of this.

Unexpected money hat is unexpected, and I really hate throwing that term around. Dead Rising 3 was not a money hat, nor was Titanfall. But Rise of the Tomb Raider is a bloody money fedora.
