During their talk at EGX REZZED in Birmingham, Creative Assembly have revealed the release date for their upcoming horror game, Alien Isolation. The game will be released on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC on 7th October, 2014.

Alien Isolation is the upcoming first-person survival horror title by Creative Assembly, the brains behind the Total War series. Set after the first film, Isolation puts players in the shoes of Amanda Ripley, Ellen Ripley’s daughter as she searches for the truth behind her mother’s disappearance. How she runs into the alien and how this will fit in with the established canon of the Alien series remains to be seen, but stay tuned for our preview of Alien Isolation which will be up shortly.
