As a man who has made videos on YouTube for now 9 years, I am happy to say that one of my best purchases was the Elgato Game Capture HD. This little beauty is just the thing you need if you feel like recording your gameplay or live streaming your online duels. Great price, great quality and great piece of kit. Perfect for the gamers that want to share their experiences.

SteelSeries 9H

Picked by Will
9H Box

The worlds comfiest headset, if the world was a small room in Berkshire. Great build, comfortable and fantastic audio quality (both input and output), make this my personal king of gaming audio if you don’t want to annoy the neighbours with your 7.1 ready, FLAC playing sound system.

Gamecube Adapter

Picked by Sam

Following on from the Nintendo theme, Super Smash Bros for Wii U is going to be huge this Christmas, appearing under the tree of both casual Nintendo fans and hardcore Smashers. Make sure you play Smash the proper way and purchase a special Wii U Gamecube Adapter, which will allow you to play with all those controllers that are gathering dust next to your copy of Super Mario Sunshine. You can even plug two Adapters in to play Smash with 8 players, if you really want to get fighty over the Christmas period. Nintendo are doing a special Smash bundle which has the Gamecube adapter bundled in with a copy of Smash for Wii U but you can always buy it separately. Don’t forget, you can also buy new Smash Gamecube Controllers, if you are new to Smash or have lost your originals. Standalone Adapter: £19.99 Smash + Adapter Bundle: £49.99

The DeathAdder Chroma is a solid build, ergonomic and comfortable mouse which is affordable for all types of gamers. The Chroma range boasts about being colourful and with 16.8 different colours to choose from with a couple of different effects, gamers can find the colour for them. Precision is also core to the build of the mouse, featuring a 10,000dpi optical sensor, capable of mouse movement speeds of up to 200 inches per second and 50g acceleration. For even more control you can use Razer’s Synapse software and control a wide range of options, including surface optimisation. If you are looking for a reliable mouse at a decent entry price the DeathAdder is a mouse to consider.

Will you be getting any of these for someone for Christmas? Let us know in the comments. If you get one on Christmas day, lucky you!
